was held at St. James Palace in London on October 20, 2021. Prior to the commencement of the high-profile COP 26, our Chairman Mr. Surendra Patwari represented the Plastics Task Force at the first in-person gathering of then HRH Prince Charles-led SMI Task Force Champions Meet. This gathering was held at St. James Palace in London on October 20, 2021. The statement of intent of the Task Force includes a commitment to providing climate positive financing and risk management solutions to support individuals and businesses worldwide to accelerate their conversion to a sustainable future. The SMI task force will also work with governments to establish a public-private disaster resilience, response and recovery framework, which will help protect developing nations from the evolving economic and societal impacts of climate change. A framework will be developed to help unlock the more than $30 trillion in assets under management, increasingly directing capital towards investments that drive climate-positive outcomes in both developed and developing nations.
