Holi is celebrated all over India as the festival of joy and colours, Momasar is one such place that adds its special touch to these celebrations, bringing out an unforgettable festival experience for both its residents and foreigners. Momasar Holi Utsav Celebration 2024 event we organised, showcased the traditional and contemporary celebrations merged seamlessly into a warm-hearted occasion full of camaraderie like never before seen in any other part of India.
Holi event always unites people and communities; this year, nearly 20,000 people attended and enjoyed the fanfare. Fortunate and privileged to be able to spread festive joy and happiness to so many people by organising this event. On stage, Mr. Surendra Patawari was honoured and felicitated, where he delivered a brief motivational address.
The highlight of the Momasar Holi Utsav was the cultural program, featuring folk music and dance performances that narrated stories of Rajasthan's heroic past and rich cultural heritage. Troupes performed traditional dances such as Ghoomar and Kalbelia, captivating the audience with grace and agility. The melodic strains of folk music played on instruments like the harmonium, dhol, and sarangi, added to the festive ambience, drawing people into a collective experience of joy and celebration. Villagers and visitors sat together to enjoy traditional Rajasthani delicacies, fostering a sense of community and shared joy.
In line with our commitment to sustainability, the celebration promoted eco-friendly practices, encouraging the use of natural colours to ensure an environmentally responsible and healthy festival. The "Momasar Holi Utsav Celebration 2024" not only stood as a testament to Rajasthan's cultural richness but also set a benchmark for sustainable cultural celebrations, leaving participants with lasting memories of a colourful, joyful, and harmonious event.
